Employment Opportunities

LJMN Media, publisher of The Lakeville Journal (first published in 1897) and The Millerton News (first published in 1932), is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit news organization.

We seek to help readers make more informed decisions through comprehensive news coverage of communities in Northwest Connecticut and Eastern Dutchess County in New York.

We currently have the following positions open.

Driver

The Driver is responsible for delivering newspapers to post offices and retail outlets across the region. This is a part-time position, rotating hours week to week. While the total hours are Wednesday, 9 a.m. to around 5 or 6 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m. to around 4 p.m.; some Fridays, according to the season and week, 10 a.m. to around 4 p.m., they are split up among three drivers as possible. Sometimes there are just two drivers on, so they drive all the hours. This is so all learn the runs and can fill in for each other, and according to schedules, can switch off.
