Library Lego party

MILLERTON — A group of children at the NorthEast-Millerton Library on Saturday, Dec. 10, built a 3-foot nutcracker, a Christmas tree and a pile of presents out of Legos. Led by Linda Tedesco, owner of the Lego party company Brick Kids, the children sorted through thousands of Legos to build their elaborate creations. The nutcracker even had a realistic moving mouth.

Friedman is passionate about organizations that advocate for canine welfare and service training, making The Little Guild a natural partner for the event.

FALLS VILLAGE The Hunt Library’s AugustFest fundraiser on Sunday, Aug. 24 featured bratwurst, live music, a silent auction and a relaxed atmosphere.

Karl Munson and Lou Timolat, sporting aprons and tongs, were already busy in the bratwurst tent as things kicked off at 4 p.m.
