For women, help with finding the beauty within

NORTH CANAAN — Known to many area residents as a photographer, Stephanie Stanton is also passionate about her work as a life coach. Through her life coaching business, High Vibe Chick, Stanton aims to empower women, helping them to learn to love and value themselves.

Stanton’s calling as a life coach grew from her work as a photographer as she helped women come out of their shell and be confident for the camera.

“In 2012 I decided to go through the Souluna Life Coaching Certification course. Their philosophy of working with the mind, body and spirit really resonated with me,” she said.

“Most of my clients are women who are ‘recovering people pleasers.’ They have decided it’s time to get on the path of self love and seek clarity about their life goals,” Stanton explained.

Many of her clients are also experiencing pivotal life shifts, such as starting a business, entering a new relationship or going through a divorce.

“We face their fears of the moment, and I help them realize that they are capable and worthy.”

Typically, Stanton meets with each client once per month for a “deep dive” into what they want to work on.

“Each session is two hours in length, and is experiential. If a client enjoys being outdoors, the session may take the form of a walk in the woods. I have a client who is an artist, so my sessions with her are full of creating. All of my clients are high achievers and want to take their lives to the next level,” she said. Each client also receives unlimited text and email support between sessions.

Tapping into her talent as a photographer, many of Stanton’s clients do empowering boudoir photo shoots with her.

“I hire a professional hair and make up team. We combine the shoot with a coaching session and the result clearly comes through in the pictures — each women is glowing and confident,” she said.

Stanton personally knows the transformative power of life coaching, having serendipitously met a life coach in a coffee shop when she was 19 years old.

“The trajectory of my own life totally switched when I began receiving life coaching. It really challenged me to go to that next level myself.”

Stanton recently opened a new studio space at 95 Main St. in North Canaan. Anyone interested in learning more about her life coaching services can go to www.highvibechick.com.
