Jigsaw Puzzles: In Stock at Oblong!

If you’ve been following the news carefully, you will have noticed that — in tandem with essential updates on COVID-19 — many important news organizations have been reporting on the worldwide shortage of jigsaw puzzles.

Even major chains such as Barnes and Noble (which always has a nice selection) are indicating on their websites that they are sold out of puzzles. Amazon of course has some but, honestly, the selection is kind of limited and many of the puzzles are unexpectedly expensive.

So this is a nice opportunity for one of our local independent booksellers, Oblong Books and Music, to outdo the mega giant Amazon. Oblong, according to owner Dick Hermans on Friday, April 24, received a shipment of puzzles about two weeks ago and still has many excellent ones in stock.

Go online and search for www.oblongbooks.com/jigsaw-puzzles (rather than  searching for puzzles after you enter the site). Hermans said the puzzles on the site are available at the two Oblong stores. Phone in your order or order online for curbside pickup.
