Hear about town projects at Town Hall on Jan. 14

SALISBURY — Thursday, Jan. 14, is a busy day at Town Hall. The first meeting of the new Salisbury-Sharon Resource Recovery Authority is at 4 p.m. This is the governing authority for the new transfer station.

At 5 p.m. the Town Grove Advisory Committee meets. Anyone curious about the progress of the new building at the Grove is encouraged to attend.

And at 7:30 p.m. the Board of Finance will meet with members of the Board of Education and the Board of Selectmen, meet in a pre-budget huddle. Last year there was some back-and-forth between the finance and school boards that became contentious at times. This meeting is designed to avoid confusion in what promises to be another year of difficult decisions.
