Housatonic student of the week April 9

The Lakeville Journal congratulates the honorees of the student of the week program at Housatonic Valley Regional High School.

Our student of the week is Justin Marrott, the son of Lisa and William Fenton of Lakeville.

A member of the class of 2009, Justin is an outstanding volunteer; he is always helping our school and our programs.  He helped his class with the snack bar at our home football games. He is a member of the Student Leadership Council and has helped with Project Linus activities with the class of 2011. When we need a helping hand, Justin is always there.

He is a member of our cross country team and our Robotics program.  He has helped out with Habitat for Humanity.  His teachers say that he is an avid reader and active learner.

Justin shares his leadership skills and knowledge with younger students; this will be put to the test yet again when the Robotics team travels to Atlanta later this month. Justin plans to attend Clarkson University, and to major in mechanical engineering.

It is a pleasure to recognize Justin Marrott as our student of the week. Congratulations!
