The Gilbert and Northwestern golf teams both came home smiling from Tuesday’s Berkshire League Golf Championships. The two local high schools, along with Nonnewaug, posted identical team scores of 341 to earn a share of the conference team championship.

For the Highlanders, Vinny Gangi led the way with a round of 83, followed by Nick Bardino and Phil Smith, with rounds of 86, and Chris Cartelli, who shot 87.
