Lewis' history now on Amazon

FALLS VILLAGE — Chuck Lewis’ book “Cut Off: Colonel Jedediah Huntington’s 17th Continental (Connecticut) Regiment at the Battle of Long Island, August 27,1776†is now available on Amazon.com.

Lewis said the idea for the book came when he was doing research on an ancestor and kept finding references to the 17th Continental.

“They just dropped out of sight,† he said.

“Cut Off†is Lewis’ second book.

Catherine Jazzo

BANTAM, Conn. — Catherine Jazzo, 77, of Bantam, Connecticut, passed away Nov. 18, 2024, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital surrounded by her family.

Catherine was born Jan. 6, 1947, in Yonkers, New York, to the late Joseph and Edythe (Parry) Jazzo.
