Music on the Mountain raises $2,500 for HYSB

FALLS VILLAGE — Music Mountain, the oldest continually operating summer music chamber festival in the country, hosted the annual fundraiser for the Housatonic Youth Service Bureau (HYSB), “Music on the Mountain,” Saturday, June 4.The concert, which featured music students from the Northwest Corner, raised about $2,500 through sponsors and ticket sales. Students were chosen based on recommendations from either their school music teacher or an outside or private teacher. HYSB offers counseling, education, prevention programs and referrals free of charge to youth and families in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. For more information about HYSB, call 860-824-4720.
