NAPA moves to new location

MILLERTON — Despite owning NAPA auto parts in Millerton since December 1968, Peter Corbett is very modest when he talks about his store.

"I don’t know really what to say," Corbett said. "We offer auto parts, that’s about it."

The store, which was located on Main Street for 39 years, has now moved to a new building on 624 North Elm Ave., Route 22.

"The landlord at the previous building wanted to do some different things with the building, so we moved here," he said. "It’s a good location, it has easy access for cars and that’s about it."

When pressed, he said that he did want readers to know that the store gives good service to customers.

"We have delivery services and we have three trucks for delivery," he said. "People really just need to know that we moved."

NAPA is now located at 624 North Elm Ave., Route 22. Hours are Mondays through Fridays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Piano Concerto No. 3 was completed in 1909 and was written specifically to be debuted in the composer’s American tour, at another time of unrest and upheaval in Russia. Trifonev is well-equipped to take on what is considered among the most technically difficult piano pieces. This program also includes Symphonic Dances, a work encapsulating many ideas and much nostalgia.
