11th Annual Fine Home Source Show is Sept. 22

MILLBROOK — Saturday, Sept. 22, is the date of a must- attend event: the 11th Annual Fine Home Source Show — and it promises to be the biggest yet.

Once again, Crisp Architects will be sponsoring this annual fall event, which gets more popular each year. Admission is free, but a $2 donation can be made to the Millbrook Rotary Shelter Box.

From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., more than 65 vendors will display their merchandise in the big white tent in front of the Band Shell on Franklin Avenue. The 2017 show attracted more than 600 visitors, and 2018 looks to attract even more, according to organizers.

The activities are varied, some old, some new. Larry Ham will be playing jazz on the piano throughout the day. Other music includes the Evergreen Chorus in the afternoon.

There will also be many culinary treats, from vendors such as Fuel 4 Life, Clinton Vineyards and Peony Vodka. Shunpike Dairy will be present, as will Ammiratt Coffee, Zoe’s Ice Cream, Soukoup Maple Syrup and more.

For the home, attendees will find cabinets from Walton Stair and Cabinet, Co. LLC; NORTHSTAR LIFTS, LLC, Montgomery Pottery, Marras Lighting Fixtures and Signature Wine Cellars, plus many others.

Again this year there will be the Paint Out, for plein air artists. They will exhibit their art work after painting during the show. A silent auction at the end of the day offers a chance to acquire one of the original pieces of art.

Special interests include vendors like Wheels of Time Auto Restorers and those selling audio–visual equipment, green source products and solar systems.

For antique lovers, there will be antiques of all kinds. The main attraction this year will be the Fine Antiques Auction, which will be held in a separate tent attached to the main tent. The auctioneer will be Tom McGeady of the Millbrook Auction Center.

All in all, this year’s show offers something for everyone — a  day of exploration and fun.
