Fall in full splendor

MILLERTON — McEnroe Organic Farm welcomed the first weekend of October by embracing the community and the season at its Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5. Running from 1 to 5 p.m., the festival offered activities for families to enjoy, whether searching for pumpkins or getting henna tattoos and painted faces. There were tables in front of the farm market offering delicacies while a chili contest enticed visitors to sample entries from Monte’s Local Kitchen & Tap Room, the Pine Plains Platter and Harney & Sons Tea Room. Customers were also invited to stop by the King’s Cider Garden for lunch and for a few games of corn hole.
