GREAT BARRINGTON — Kenneth R. Tinker, 56, died July 13, 2015, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Mass.
Born June 21, 1959, in Great Barrington, he was the son of Elizabeth (Leffingwell) and William Tinker. He graduated from Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village.
Ken worked doing home construction, specializing in taping drywall. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
He was a member of the Sheffield Chapel.
Ken is survived by his longtime companion, Dawn M. Stevens, and their son, Timothy Stevens, of Great Barrington; his brothers, William Tinker of Columbus, Ohio, and Richard Tinker, and his wife, Norene, of New Marlborough, Mass.; his sister, Cindi Labshere, and her husband, Layne, of New Marlborough; and his beloved cat, Junior.
A service celebrating Ken’s life was held July 17 at Finnerty & Stevens Funeral Home in Great Barrington, the Rev. Corey J. McLaughlin, pastor of Sheffield Chapel, officiating.
