NEW MARLBOROUGH, Mass. — Pauline M. (Wandall) Deane died on April 20, 2008, at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, Mass.
She was born on Nov. 19, 1947, the second child of the late Jennie (Cantone) and Archie Wandall.
She lived in Clayton, Mass., for the past 30 years with her loving husband, Walter Deane. She had been with him for 43 years and was married to him for 38. They were wed on Nov. 29, 1969.
She worked at the Canaan National Bank (later the Salisbury Bank) for more than 20 years, and waitressed at the Sunrise Diner on Sundays for more than 15 years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jennie; a son, Walter; a daughter-in-law, Miriam; her grandchildren, Kevin Deane, Mary Phillips Morey, Sarah Morey and Dylan Deane; a brother, William Wandall; her sisters, Joyce Bassett and Christine Brazeau; two stepsisters, Colleen and Doreen Wandall; her stepmother, Sally Wandall; and her many loving in-laws and nieces and nephews, as well as her large work family.
She was predeceased by her oldest son, Bobby Phillips.
She will be missed by everyone who knew her and loved her.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, at 2 p.m. at the Newkirk-Palmer Funeral Home in North Canaan.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the funeral.
