MILLBROOK — Music at Lyall welcomed the second concert of the season with Art Songs and Arias, featuring soprano Robin Clifford and mezzo soprano Rachel Weishoff. Accompanied by Christopher Cooley, pianist and composer, the performance ran a little over an hour, and delighted the audience of about 35 with a selection of music that filled the church with music that sounded, appropriately, like heaven.
The three musicians have worked together before, and it showed in their easy manner and strong performances.
Refreshments were served, admission was free, as always, although donations were gratefully accepted.
Music at Lyall continues on Sunday, May 5, at 7 p.m. with The Millbrook Festival Choir Spring Concert. Lyall Federated Memorial Church is located at 30 West Maple Ave. in Millbrook.
