Sharon bridge scores April 28

SHARON — We had six full tables for duplicate bridge at Good Neighbors on Low Road in Sharon on April 6. With five boards a round, and a skip after three rounds, all pairs played 25 boards and had an average score of 50. For North South pairs, in first with 56.5 points were Trish Stimpson and George Mason; in second with 55 points were Doris Reeves and Harry Hall, and in third with 53 points were Roger Price and Jim Palmer. For East West pairs, in first with 59 points were Kit Kellogg and John Neufeld; in second with 55 points were Marguerite McGrath and Anne Bates, and in third with 54.5 points were Barbara Griggs and Dick Collins.There were seven full tables for duplicate bridge at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville on April 13. Everyone enjoyed a very delightful lunch before the bridge game. We played four boards a round for a total of 28 boards, making for a long day. The average score was 84. For North South pairs, in first with 106.45 points (63.36 percent) were Carol Magowan and Harry Hall; in second with 93.75 points (55.8 percent) were Emily and Billy Saster, and in third with 90.98 points (54.15 percent) were Catherine Brazelton and John Bevan. For East West pairs, in first with 99.05 points (58.96 percent) were Doris Reeves and Sheila Puccia; in second with 86.7 points (51.61 percent) were Kit Kellogg and Lilly Beck, and in third with 83.32 points (49.60 percent) were Diane and Roger Price.
