Tivoli Artists Gallery presents the Wild Places Show

Gregory Martin, through the lens with his landscape photography and Tarryl Gabel, behind the brush, with her canvas and oils.Gregory has photographed throughout North America. He brings his unique view, capturing incredible details and color in his landscapes while portraying the beauty of our parks and wilderness areas.Tarryl Gabel is an award-winning artist best known for her plein air oil paintings of the Hudson Valley Region. For this show she focuses her attention not only on the representing the landscape, but she will also be showing paintings of North American wildlife. With this show the two artists hope to bring attention to the splendor and grandeur of our wild places that are often so missed or taken for granted; to capture a fleeting moment in time and make an emotional connection with their audience through their respective mediums. It may be the way the light and atmosphere changes the landscape or to capture the night sky or maybe a fox running across the snow. Most important they want to remind the viewers we are not alone, but share and foster respect for this beautiful land and the wild creatures that inhabit it. The Tivoli Artists Gallery is located at 60 Broadway, Tivoli, NY. The exhibit will open on May 29th and run through June 21st. The artists' reception is Saturday, May 30th from 6 to 8 pm.
