WEBUTUCK — The Webutuck Class of 2026 had a cool summer morning to celebrate the final chapter of its academic career at Eugene Brooks Intermediate School at the Eighth-Grade Recognition Ceremony held on Thursday, June 23. The ceremony was held at 8:30 a.m. under an enormous tent on the soccer field behind Webutuck High School.

As well as receiving sage words of advice for the next four years of study at the high school, the students were presented with moving up certificates and awards during the ceremony.

“If you can give your best effort, it will always be good enough,” Eugene Brooks Intermediate School Principal Matthew Pascale said in his speech to the excited and proud young students.
