This six-room exhibit traces the history of Christmas from European and Colonial traditions through the rise of Saint Nicholas and the holiday’s Civil War-era evolution. Visitors move through the Victorian era, the 1920s, the Depression, World War II and the 1950s, ending in a modern gallery with a large train and Christmas village. A gift area offers unique items.
