Sharon bridge scores Jan. 13

SHARON — There were seven-and-a-half tables for duplicate bridge on Dec. 15. The game was played at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, following our annual Christmas luncheon. The meal was excellent and the ambience was ripe with good fellowship.

We played three boards a round, with a bye table. North South pairs played 24 boards and East West pairs played 21 boards. The average score was 72.

For North South pairs, in first with 86.33 points (59.95 percent) were Trish Stimpson and Harry Hall; in second with 78.67 points (54.63 percent) were Doris Reeves and Rusty Chandler, and in third with 77.42 points (53.76 percent) were Norma Bartholomew and George Mason.

For East West pairs, in first with 83.23 points (57.8 percent) were Joan Turnure and Jim Palmer; in second with 83.05 points (57.67 percent) were Ann Patton and Mary Robertson, and in third with 73.71 points (51.19 percent) were Kit Kellogg and Bob Finn.
