The Planning & Zoning Commission of the Town of Salisbury will hold a Public Hearing on Application #2023-0221 by owner H & R Holdings LLC for a change of use to professional office and special permit for parking flexibility at 14 Main Street, Salisbury, Map 54, Lot 17-1 per Sections 800.4 and 703.8 of the Salisbury Zoning Regulations. The hearing will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 6:45 PM. There is no physical location for this meeting. This meeting will be held virtually via Zoom where interested persons can listen to & speak on the matter. The application, agenda and meeting instructions will be listed at www.salisburyct.us. Written comments may be submitted to the Land Use Office, Salisbury Town Hall, 27 Main Street, P.O. Box 548, Salisbury, CT or via email to aconroy@salisburyct.us. FALLS VILLAGE — Eric Veden’s 36th installment of his Falls Village video series includes an October 2024 Housatonic Heritage walk through downtown Falls Village led by Judy Jacobs and Bill Beebe.

In the video, participants gather at the Depot, home of the Falls Village–Canaan Historical Society. As the group sets out along Railroad Street, Jacobs notes that the Depot was constructed between 1842 and 1844 to serve the newly established railroad.
